How it works

A base that meets your drink where it is

Your drink doesn't need a new mug. It needs a stable base that uses your car's own 12V power to hold temperature—gently, through the whole drive.

01
Heats from the base up

The metal plate warms to up to 136°F and transfers heat directly to whatever cup sits in the chamber. It maintains—it doesn't boil.

02
Cools on the same plate

Flip to cooling and the plate draws heat out, keeping a chilled can or bottle cold through a hot-weather drive.

How the TempDrive Cup works: 12V power flows through the metal conduction plate to a flat-bottom cup or aluminum can

The honest comparison

One base beats the pile on the passenger seat

What most people try first—and why a dedicated base wins.

Makeshift car cup holder setup: paper coffee cup, towel, and cork mat

Towels, console, or a “universal” slot

Wraps and makeshift rests don't hold a steady temperature—they leave your drink rolling and let it cool. A passive thermos just traps whatever temperature was already there.

The TempDrive base

A secure, powered base that holds whatever cup sits in it at temperature—heat or cool—for the length of the drive.

Built for the drive

How it solves your drink's temperature problem

From the cabin losing the fight, to the cup winning it.

A car cabin in two seasons: on the left, a hot coffee in a cup holder steaming in winter; on the right, a cold canned drink beading with condensation in summer — temperature lost to the cabin.

Before the cup

Your coffee cools inside the first ten miles. Your cold can warms up in summer traffic. The cabin wins the moment you close the door — heat leaks in, cold leaks out, no matter the cup.

Heat wins — until the cup starts competing.

Set in. Held there.

Set the same drink in the Velloraco TempDrive Cup. One press cools it down to 37°F (≈3°C); another warms it up to 136°F (≈58°C). The drink lands at the temperature you poured it — from the first mile to the last.

Sits in a standard car cup holder; raised base keeps deep cups easy to grab.

Drop in. Press once.
Side-by-side cross-section of the TempDrive Cup: left shows cool mode with a cold can held at ≈37°F (3°C) and blue arrows pulling heat down through the aluminum plate into a vented base; right shows warm mode with a paper coffee cup held at 136°F (≈58°C) and orange arrows pushing heat up from the base into the cup while warm exhaust flows out the sides.

The two-temperature core

A flat aluminum plate meets the bottom of your cup. A thermoelectric core moves heat in or out; a fan carries it away. One cup body, two directions of heat, one 12V outlet — cold to 37°F (≈3°C), warm to 136°F (≈58°C).

Setup

Three steps, no tools

From box to holding temperature in under a minute.

Step 1: Plug the TempDrive Cup into the car's 12V outlet
1

Plug into 12V

Heads up:Unplug when the engine's off to avoid drawing the battery.

Tested & certified

FCC tested for clean in-car use.

Your TempDrive base draws from the car's 12V outlet, so it carries a US Supplier's Declaration of Conformity — meaning it stays inside the FCC's electromagnetic limits and won't throw off your radio, Bluetooth, or hands-free.

  • Tested under FCC Part 15B (unintentional radiators)
  • Certificate No. HRC20250902006-ZS · Issued 02 Sep 2025
  • Issued by HRC Testing Technology (independent lab)

This certificate covers electromagnetic compatibility only. Mechanical durability, temperature hold, and cup fit are verified under our 60-day guarantee, separately.

Questions

Before you buy

Will it push my driving position forward?

No. The base sits inside your existing cup holder—it doesn't attach to the seat or dash.

Does it fit every car cup holder?

It's built for standard 12V car cup holders. Very shallow or oddly shaped holders may not seat it—measure first.

What containers work best?

Paper, stainless steel, glass, plastic, and insulated mugs all work if they fit inside the unit. The base does the work—what matters is that the cup fits securely and makes contact.

Is the 12V outlet enough?

Yes. It draws only what a standard car 12V socket safely provides—no hardwiring.

Does it keep drinks cold in hot weather?

Yes, on the cooling mode it holds a chilled can or bottle cold through a hot drive. It maintains—it doesn't freeze a warm one instantly.

Is it a good gift?

For commuters and road-trippers who live in their car an hour a day, yes—practical and genuinely used.
